What the school offers its staff

Langtree School is a thriving, heavily oversubscribed secondary school in Oxfordshire, home to 620 fantastic students. We believe our small size is our greatest strength: we are a close-knit community where every student is known, valued, and nurtured as an individual by a dedicated team of subject-specialist teachers.

Our motto, "Putting Learning First," drives everything we do, underpinned by our core values of Courtesy, Respect, and Integrity. While we are proud of our external recognition—including an Ofsted rating of Outstanding for Behaviour and Personal Development (February 2023) and consecutive nominations for Best Secondary School at the Education Awards—our primary focus is ensuring every student enjoys a rich, ambitious education. Academic standards are exceptionally high; in 2024, our school achieved a Progress 8 score of +0.65, with 84% of students securing GCSE grades 9–4 including English and Maths
