Your new company

An established and fast-growing transportation organisation based in the Wirral is seeking Customer Service Advisors to join their busy operations team on an initial 8-week temporary contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced customer service environment, with a strong possibility of the assignment being extended.

Your new role

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for customers and service operators, handling incoming calls, processing bookings, and ensuring all enquiries are managed efficiently. Working within a busy contact centre environment, you will support the day-to-day operation of transport services whilst delivering an excellent customer experience.

Key responsibilities include:

Handling inbound calls from customers and service operators

Accurately processing bookings and service requests using internal systems

Responding to customer enquiries in a professional and timely manner

Updating customers on delays, cancellations, and service changes

Monitoring shared inboxes and processing booking requests

Maintaining accurate records and updating customer information

Liaising with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery

Providing first-class customer service at all times

What you'll need to succeed

Previous experience within a customer service, call centre, contact centre, or telephone-based role

Excellent communication skills with a professional phone manner

Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills

Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office

Ability to multitask and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment

A customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills

Reliable, team-oriented, and willing to learn

What you'll get in return

£12.98 per hour

Full-time position working either 6:00am to 2:00pm or 8:00am to 4:00pm

Weekly pay

Initial 8-week temporary contract

Strong likelihood of contract extension

Immediate start available

Full training provided
