About the Role
As an Operations Processor / Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of parcels through a busy service centre. Working with secure, customs-cleared shipments, you will be responsible for processing incoming and outgoing consignments safely, accurately, and within strict operational deadlines.
This is a hands-on warehouse role that requires attention to detail, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcess all incoming and outgoing shipments.Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.Scan and process parcels using warehouse systems and handheld scanners.Sort and distribute shipments throughout the service centre.Ensure all tasks are completed quickly, accurately, and within operational deadlines.Maintain a high level of attention to detail.Handle shipments carefully to minimise damage and errors.Carry out manual handling and lifting of parcels, including some heavier items.Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment.Ensure the warehouse is left clean and tidy at the end of each shift.Work closely with colleagues to achieve daily operational targets.Carry out any other reasonable duties as required.What We're Looking ForReliable and punctual individuals.Strong attention to detail.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.Good communication and teamwork skills.Positive attitude and willingness to learn.Ability to follow procedures and health and safety requirements.No experience required, as full training will be provided.Security training will be provided where required.Key SkillsPrecise and careful handling of shipments.Ability to work to tight deadlines and timeframes.Excellent teamwork and communication skills.Commitment to quality, accuracy, and safety.Physical Requirements
