Who are we?
Field Locker is a UK market research company. We conduct telephone interviews with businesses and members of the public. You might interview customers about their experience of a service, ask members of the public about transport or local services, or gather opinions on social and political issues.
This is market research, not telesales. You will not be selling products!
Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting telephone interviews using an on-screen questionnaire
Reading questions accurately and recording answers correctly
Remaining professional, polite and engaging
Asking follow-up questions where instructed
Following project, quality and data-protection requirements
What else do I need to know BEFORE applying?
You will need:
A Windows laptop or desktop computer with a screen of at least 13 inches and a physical keyboard. MacBooks, Chromebooks and tablets are NOT compatible with our interviewing software.
A built-in or separate webcam. Cameras are required during training, project briefings and coaching meetings
A headset with a built-in microphone that is compatible with your computer.
A stable broadband connection with a minimum download speed of 12 Mbps.
A suitable private workspace where calls cannot be overheard and background noise will not interfere with interviews.
Do NOT complete the application on your phone or a tablet. Our application form checks your technical hardware to make sure it is compatible with our software so use the laptop/PC you would use to do this work.
Where reasonable adjustments are required because of a disability or health condition, we will discuss these with you. You must have the right to work in the UK and must normally carry out the work from within the UK.
