Set within the heart of Edinburgh, The Caledonian Edinburgh invites guests into beautifully re-imagined bedrooms inspired by Scotland’s landscapes and heritage. We are seeking a
Guest Services Agent to help deliver a seamless, refined experience from first arrival to final farewell. This is a part-time contract of 32 hours, over 4 days.
The Person:
- A polished and welcoming professional with a passion for luxury hospitality
- Naturally warm, confident and composed in all guest interactions
- Detail-orientated with strong communication and organisational skills
- Proactive, adaptable and calm under pressure
- Flexible to work across varied shifts, supporting hotel operations.
The Role:
- Deliver a seamless, refined guest journey from arrival to departure
- Act as the first and lasting impression of The Caledonian Edinburgh
- Provide attentive, personalised front-of-house service
- Uphold the hotel’s luxury standards and brand values at all times
- Support the wider Front of House team in exceeding guest expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage check-in and check-out with efficiency, discretion and warmth
- Respond promptly to guest enquiries, resolving requests professionally
- Maintain thorough knowledge of room categories, rates and promotions
- Maximise occupancy and revenue through confident upselling
- Follow all security, cash handling and health and safety procedures.
