Summary

Vehicle Technician – Oldbury

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, LCV Technician or Motor Vehicle Technician to join a commercial fleet workshop in Oldbury. Applicants must have previous Vehicle technician experience, hold a Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, a full UK, Irish or EU manual driving licence and have the right to work in the UK.

Location: Oldbury

Salary: £36,465 – £38,896 Basic + Overtime

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm | 42.5 hours per week

Vehicle Technician Role

- Service, maintain and repair light commercial vehicles and fleet vehicles

- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults

- Carry out scheduled and preventative maintenance

- Prepare vehicles for MOT testing

- Complete repairs to required safety and quality standards

- Accurately record completed maintenance and repair work

- Work closely with other Technicians and workshop colleagues

Vehicle Technician Requirements

- Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent

- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Mechanic or LCV Technician

- Previous experience working on light commercial vehicles (LCVs)

- Strong servicing, maintenance and repair experience

- Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills

- Full UK, Irish or EU manual driving licence

- Right to work in the UK
