Summary

What's involved with this role:

Triumph Consultants are looking for an experienced Parking Enforcement Officer to support the enforcement of on and off-street parking regulations. Previous Parking Enforcement Officer or Civil Enforcement Officer experience is essential. This is a 6 months contract, based fully on-site in Woolwich, SE18 6HQ. Applicants without relevant parking or civil enforcement experience will not be considered.

Parking Enforcement Officer

Pay Rate: £17.90 per hour PAYE

Hours per week: 35 Monday – Friday, 9:00-17:00

Contract length: 6 months

Location: Woolwich SE18 6HQ

Key requirements:

Previous experience as a Parking Enforcement Officer or Civil Enforcement Officer is essential.

Proven experience issuing PCNs and enforcing on and off-street parking regulations.

Experience patrolling controlled parking zones, parking places and designated routes.

Confident using handheld enforcement devices/computerised systems and maintaining accurate evidence and records.

Full UK driving licence with strong public-facing communication and conflict-handling skills.

Key responsibilities:

Patrol designated parking areas, CPZs and routes, identifying contraventions and issuing PCNs.

Check parking meters, pay-and-display equipment, signage and road markings, reporting faults or defects.

Maintain accurate enforcement records, evidence, notes and witness statements where required.

Deal professionally with members of the public regarding parking and enforcement enquiries.

Use Council vehicles and enforcement systems while following relevant procedures and health and safety requirements.
