Its operations include day deliveries and collections, trunking between operating locations and tail-lift delivery options, supporting road transport activity across the UK.The roleA temporary opportunity is available for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver working days from the Cheltenham area. You will be responsible for completing deliveries and collections safely, efficiently and professionally.Key responsibilitiesDrive an HGV Class 1 vehicle in line with road and transport regulationsComplete delivery and collection work to scheduled locationsOperate tail-lift equipment safely and correctlyLoad, unload and secure goods as requiredCarry out daily vehicle checks and report any defectsComplete delivery paperwork accuratelyMaintain professional standards when dealing with customers and site contactsSkills and qualificationsHGV Class 1 driving entitlementPrevious experience operating a tail-liftSafe and responsible driving approachGood understanding of vehicle safety and load securityReliable, punctual and professional mannerAbility to work independently and follow delivery instructionsGood communication skillsThis is a temporary days position offering competitive hourly pay and weekly payment every Wednesday.Apply today.
