Summary
Reporting to the Board and working in close partnership with the Independent Chair, the Chief Executive will provide strategic, organisational and operational leadership for the North West London Primary Care Provider Collaborative. As the organisation's first substantive Chief Executive, you will be responsible for translating the Board's vision into a sustainable and effective organisation. You will establish the executive leadership team, develop the organisational infrastructure and create the culture, governance and operating model that will enable the Collaborative to flourish. You will build trusted relationships with shareholder organisations, the Integrated Care Board, NHS providers, local authorities and wider partners, positioning the Collaborative as a credible and influential voice for primary care. Through collaborative leadership and effective partnership working, you will identify opportunities for the organisation to expand its role, secure new responsibilities and support the delivery of improved services for local communities. The role requires someone who is comfortable working in an evolving environment, balancing strategic thinking with practical delivery. You will need to lead through influence rather than hierarchy, bringing together organisations with different priorities whilst maintaining momentum and a clear sense of purpose. Key responsibilities The Chief Executive will: Lead the strategic and operational development of the North West London Primary Care Provider Collaborative working closely with the Board to translate ambition into delivery. Drive Primary care transformation that is disciplined, evidence led and grounded in frontline operational reality. Establish and lead a high performing executive team, fostering an inclusive, collaborative and values led organisational culture. Build trusted relationships with shareholder organisations and system partners, maintaining the confidence of members whilst strengthening the Collaborative's influence across North West London. Identify opportunities for organisational growth, including the development of new services, partnerships and functions. Lead the successful mobilisation of new responsibilities transferred to the Collaborative, ensuring appropriate organisational capability and resilience. Ensure effective financial stewardship, organisational performance, risk management and responsible management of public resources. Represent the Collaborative externally, acting as an ambassador across local, regional and national forums. Champion innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement, ensuring the organisation remains responsive to the changing needs of the health and care system.
