Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

PURPOSE

Provide an efficient, friendly and professional first point of contact for the Academy, supporting the day-to-day administrative functions of the school office, including reception, communications, pupil records and general clerical support.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• 5 good GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics at grade 4 (C) +

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

• Have experience of working under pressure to deadlines

• Be able to evidence experience of working effectively within a team

• Be competent in working with technology

• Experience of working in a busy office or reception environment

• Experience of using Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook)

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Be able to relate to young people

• Be able to work as part of a team

• Be able to supervise and assist students

• Have good communication skills

• Have good numeracy and literacy skills

• Have a flexible attitude to work

• Have a commitment to professional development
