The business focuses on reliable service, operational efficiency and maintaining high standards.The roleAn opportunity is available for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to undertake temporary night trunking work in and around Gloucester.Key responsibilities• Completing scheduled trunking runs safely and efficiently• Carrying out vehicle checks before and after journeys• Ensuring loads are secure and handled appropriately• Completing delivery paperwork and relevant records• Following drivers’ hours, working time and road safety regulations• Maintaining professional communication with transport and operational teamsSkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 1 driving licence• Experience of trunking work• Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and road safety requirements• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach• Ability to work independently during night shifts• Relevant driver documentation, including a valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph cardBenefits• £18 to £20 per hour• Paid every Wednesday• Temporary night work• Opportunity to be visible to local employersThis role would suit a dependable HGV Class 1 Driver who is comfortable working nights and has previous trunking experience.
