Thisisavaried,patient-focusedrolesupportingstaffacrossNeurophysiology,UltrasoundandMammography.Youwillhelppatientsthroughouttheirjourney,providingclinicalassistance,chaperoning,basicobservations,patientescortsandsupportduringexaminationsandprocedures,alongsidereceptionandadministrativeduties.

Workingaspartofabusymultidisciplinaryteam,youwillhelpensurepatientsreceiveasafe,efficientandpositiveexperience.Ifyouhaveexcellentcommunicationskills,enjoyworkingwithpeopleandarekeentodevelopyourclinicalskills,wewouldlovetohearfromyou.

To provide comprehensive clinical and technical support to the consultant Neurophysiologist Radiologists, physiologist sonographers, radiographers and the patients attending Diagnostic Appointment. The job  role  will  involve  a shift  pattern of working over seven  days per  week.  The post will involve working between Neurophysiology and Diagnostic imaging

Wearelookingforacaring,organisedandenthusiasticindividualtojoinourteam,providingclinicalandadministrativesupportacrossNeurophysiologyandDiagnosticImaging,includingUltrasoundandMammography.

This varied role involves working closely with physiologists, radiographers, sonographers, radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support the safe and efficient delivery of patient care. Duties will include acting as a chaperone and clinical assistant, preparing patientsandclinicalareasforexaminationsandprocedures,undertakingbasicpatientobservations,assistingwithpatientmovementandescorts,andsupportinginvasiveprocedureswithinyourleveloftrainingandcompetence.

You will also provide receptionandclericalsupport,maintainaccuratepatientinformation,assistwithclinicalsystemsandimageorrecordprocessing,monitorbasicstocklevels,andhelpensureclinicalareasandequipmentareclean,tidyandappropriatelyprepared.

Theroleincludessupportingpatientsofallages,abilitiesandlevelsofmobility,includingwardandcommunitypatients,andmayinvolveworkinginarangeofclinicalenvironments,includingcommunityhospitalsandITU.

Wearelookingforsomeonewithexcellentcommunicationandorganisationalskills, a compassionate and patient-focused approach, and the ability to workeffectivelyaspartofabusymultidisciplinaryteam.Fulltrainingwillbeprovidedfordutiesappropriatetotherole,withallclinicalactivitiesundertakeninaccordancewithlocalprocedures,protocolsandcompetencyrequirements.
