Summary

About the Role

Join our dynamic Healthcare Team and support candidates in achieving their learning goals by providing an engaging and effective learning experience. Contribute to the overall success of our curricular area by assisting team members and the Curriculum Manager with the evaluation of learning and teaching.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Learning and Teaching activities to a broad range of learners and in a variety of educational settings.

• Primarily teach candidates in subject areas of Healthcare and demonstrate practical clinical skills.

• Evaluate and improve teaching methods and curriculum effectiveness.

• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to enhance team performance and curriculum quality

• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the department

• Maintain accurate records of learner attendance and achievement

Qualifications and Experience

• Essential:

o Qualified to Degree (SCQF 9) or SVQ Level 4/5 in the relevant vocational area or Highest-level qualification in a relevant Healthcare in particular from a nursing or Healthcare clinical discipline.

o Relevant current academic experience

o Relevant current clinical skills experience gain from a healthcare profession

o Demonstrable experience and practiced skills following a vocational qualification

o Driving License as Travel will be required within Fife

• Desirable:

o Teaching Qualification in Further Education (TQFE)

o Previous experience of facilitating or teaching

o Broad demonstrable experience of curriculum delivery

o Proven record of evaluative ability, to recognise areas for improvement and plan for excellence
