Are you an experienced and highly organised administrator looking for an opportunity to play a central role in a unique and ambitious 3-18 school?The Governing Body of Idris Davies School 3-18 is seeking to appoint an exceptional School Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day administration function of the school and coordinate our dedicated administration team.Working closely with the School Business Manager, you will help ensure that administrative services across the school are efficient, professional and responsive. You will coordinate HR administration, compliance and business support processes whilst supporting the continued development of systems and procedures, including our transition to Arbor.This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and solutions-focused individual who enjoys working with people, improving systems and supporting staff, pupils and families within a busy school environment.As one of the first 3-18 schools in Wales, we are committed to our vision of Every Pupil, Every Opportunity, Every Day.We Offer:A supportive and inclusive school community.The opportunity to coordinate an experienced administration team.A varied and rewarding role at the heart of school life.High-quality professional learning and development opportunities.The opportunity to help improve systems, processes and administrative services across a unique 3-18 school.The chance to work alongside an experienced and supportive leadership team.A key role in supporting the school's transition to Arbor and the continued development of business support services.About the Role The successful candidate will: Coordinate the day-to-day work of the administration team.Oversee the operation of the school office and reception services.Allocate workloads and monitor key deadlines.Coordinate recruitment and HR administration processes.Maintain personnel records and the Single Central Record.Support compliance and administrative systems.Coordinate the administration of Arbor and associated systems.Develop and improve office procedures and working practices.Support business continuity across administrative functions.Provide operational updates and information to the School Business Manager.
We're Looking For Someone WhoHas experience working within a school or similarly complex administrative environment.Has experience supervising or coordinating staff.Possesses excellent organisational and communication skills.Is confident managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.Has experience of HR administration, compliance or business support functions.Is highly professional and able to maintain confidentiality.Is proactive, resilient and committed to continuous improvement.Has strong ICT skills and enjoys developing effective systems and processes.Experience of Arbor, SIMS, or other management information systems would be advantageous.📍 School visits are welcomed.
