Summary
Luma Education Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a primary school on a temporary full-time basis, supporting pupils across Year 3 to Year 6.
This role is to provide additional classroom support during a temporary staff absence. The successful Teaching Assistant will need to be flexible, adaptable and confident working across different year groups.
Key Responsibilities
Provide classroom and learning support across Year 3 to Year 6.
Work closely with class teachers to support pupils' learning and development.
Provide targeted 1:1 and small-group support where required.
Help pupils access the curriculum and complete learning activities.
Support positive behaviour and maintain a calm, inclusive classroom environment.
Assist with classroom routines, preparation and organisation of resources.
Build positive and professional relationships with pupils and staff.
Adapt quickly to different classrooms, year groups and teaching styles.
Encourage pupil engagement, confidence and independence.
Contribute positively as part of the wider school team.
