Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced

Heavy Mobile Plant Operator / Mobile Plant Operator / Heavy Plant Operator to join a busy heavy industrial operation in

Darley Dale.

The successful candidate

must have current, relevant tickets and proven experience operating ALL THREE of the following:

  • 18–22 tonne Large Dumper

  • 21 tonne 360 Excavator

  • Mobile Jaw Crusher

    Previous experience in

    quarrying, recycling, aggregates, waste, construction, earthmoving, heavy industry or materials processing is highly desirable.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Operate

      • 18–22 tonne dumpers

    • Operate

      • 21 tonne 360 excavators

    • Operate

      • mobile jaw crushers

    • Load, move and process materials

    • Carry out daily plant and equipment checks

    • Report defects, faults and maintenance requirements

    • Follow site operating procedures and Health & Safety requirements

    • Maintain safe working areas around mobile plant

    • Work alongside other Heavy Plant Operators and site teams

    • Support general site operations when required

      • Essential Requirements

      • Previous experience as a

        • Heavy Plant Operator, Mobile Plant Operator, 360 Excavator Operator, Dumper Driver/Operator or Crusher Operator

      • Proven operating experience on all three machines

      • Current

        • CPCS / NPORS or relevant plant tickets for the required machinery

      • Experience operating

        • large mobile plant

      • Strong Health & Safety awareness

      • Able to complete pre-use checks and identify defects

      • Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work independently

      • Previous

        • quarry, aggregates, recycling, waste, construction or heavy industrial experience

        Shift & Pay

        • £20.37 per hour PAYE

        • Continental shift pattern

        • Ongoing work with permanent opportunities for the right candidate

        • Darley Dale, Derbyshire

          • Candidates must have experience operating a 360 excavator, large dumper AND mobile jaw crusher, with the relevant tickets/licences.
