This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers who want to keep progressing professionally while enjoying greater variety in their working week.

Whether you're an ECT looking to build confidence, an experienced teacher considering your next permanent move, or you're simply looking for more flexibility, supply teaching can give you valuable exposure to different year groups, teaching approaches and school communities.

Working across different classrooms gives you the opportunity to experience a variety of teaching environments and discover where your strengths and interests lie.

You'll be able to develop your skills in areas including:

- Classroom and behaviour management

- Delivering lessons across different year groups

- Adapting quickly to different learning environments

- Supporting pupils with varying abilities and additional needs

- Working with different teaching and support teams

- Differentiating learning for individual pupils

- Building confidence and versatility as a teacher

For teachers early in their careers, this can provide valuable classroom experience. For established teachers, it can offer a chance to explore different settings before deciding on the next stage of your career.

As a Supply Teacher, you'll step into classrooms and provide continuity of learning when the regular class teacher is unavailable.

Depending on the placement, your responsibilities may include:

- Delivering pre-planned lessons across the curriculum

- Maintaining positive classroom routines

- Engaging pupils and encouraging participation

- Adapting activities where pupils require additional support

- Managing behaviour confidently and consistently

- Working alongside Teaching Assistants and other school staff

- Providing feedback on pupil learning and the work completed

- Creating a safe, inclusive and positive classroom environment

Assignments may vary, giving you the chance to experience different schools while building a broader teaching skill set.

You'll need:

- QTS, PGCE or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

- Good knowledge of the national curriculum

- Strong communication and classroom management skills

- The confidence to adapt to different schools and classes

- A professional, reliable and flexible approach

- A genuine commitment to helping pupils learn and progress

We welcome applications from both Early Career Teachers and experienced educators.

Flexible teaching doesn't have to mean standing still professionally.

The variety of supply work can help you build experience, strengthen your CV, expand your professional network and develop the adaptability that schools value.

With pay from £160 per day via PAYE, this is an opportunity to combine flexibility with meaningful classroom experience.

If you're a qualified teacher looking for supply teaching opportunities in Ealing, submit your CV today and take your next step in education.
