Our client, a reputable and well-established Motor Trade Commercial Fleet Service centre, is recruiting for a Commercial Workshop Controller in Burgess Hill. Duties:

- Managing and motivating a team of vehicle technicians to meet productivity and KPI targets

- Delegating tasks based on technician skill sets and workload

- Identifying training needs and implementing technical development plans

- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date workshop paperwork

- Processing job cards efficiently to ensure work-in-progress targets are achieved

- Ensuring health and safety procedures comply with industry standards

- Supporting the ongoing smooth operation of the workshop, ensuring exceptional customer service and operational efficiency

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a workshop controller, shift manager, or similar role within the automotive industry

- Extensive knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and workshop processes

- Strong leadership and team management skills

- Ability to allocate resources efficiently and delegate effectively

- Good organisation and administrative skills

- A positive attitude with a commitment to high standards and continuous improvement
