Summary

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established, family-run car garage in Horley, Surrey, for the position of Service Advisor. The Service Advisor will be a key member of a friendly and supportive team, responsible for delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring smooth front-of-house operations. Duties of the Service Advisor:

- Answering incoming phone calls and handling customer enquiries professionally

- Managing appointment bookings and scheduling service jobs efficiently

- Raising job cards and liaising with the Aftersales Manager

- Delivering excellent customer service at the front desk

- Providing administrative support, including upselling services when appropriate

- Covering the front desk during busy periods as part of a dedicated team

- Managing a fast-paced environment with energy, multitasking skills, and efficiency

Requirements of the Service Advisor:

- Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing role within the motor trade

- Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Polite and professional telephone manner

- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment

- Good administrative skills and a proactive attitude

- Enthusiastic approach to delivering high standards of customer service
