Summary

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Vehicle Technician at their independent garage in Crawley, West Sussex. This is an excellent Vehicle Technician opportunity for a skilled motor trade professional to join a reputable, fast-growing enterprise specialising in all makes and models. Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

- Service vehicles and perform mechanical repairs to high standards and in compliance with safety regulations

- Assist with tyre fitting, wheel alignments, and relevant adjustments

- Fit brakes, exhausts, and other mechanical components efficiently and accurately

- Conduct vehicle inspections, identify additional faults, and communicate findings clearly to customers

- Maintain accurate records of inspections and repairs

- Ensure all work is conducted in a safe manner in line with health and safety regulations

- Support workshop operations through additional duties as required

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role within the motor trade

- Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills

- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points (subject to licence checks)

- Excellent problem-solving ability and meticulous attention to detail

- Effective communicator, capable of explaining technical issues clearly to customers

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

- Positive attitude with a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service
