Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

We welcome applications from aspiring individuals that have an aptitude for working with children and young people that have the patience and skills to deal with a range of different abilities and challenging behaviours.

Working 30 hours per week, term time (plus 3 days, used across the academic year for training and meetings), the role of Learning Support Assistant is to promote the learning and welfare of students by providing practical and learning support to students, including those with statements of special educational needs, under the direction of a class teacher.

We are pleased to announce McAuley are joining St Francis Catholic Multi Academy Trust this Autumn term. St Frances CMAT was established in September 2022 as part of Bishop of Hallam's vision for education. Today the St Francis family embraces 14 schools, 12 primary and 2 High School across the Local Authorities of Doncaster, Nottinghamshire and Rotherham. With the addition of McAuley the Trust is set to grow to 24 schools at capacity.
