English Lecturers for temporary opportunities.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced English Lecturer to join a supportive FE environment, delivering high-quality teaching and helping learners develop their skills and achieve their qualifications.

Location: London

Pay: Up to £38 per hour

Contract: Temporary

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging English lessons across relevant levels and qualifications.

Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with curriculum requirements.

Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback.

Support learners with different abilities and learning needs.

Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress and achievement.

Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement.

Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff.

Ensure teaching meets safeguarding, equality and quality standards.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

Experience teaching

English within a Further Education setting.

Strong subject knowledge in

English Language and/or Literature.

Experience delivering and assessing relevant qualifications.

Strong communication and classroom management skills.

A recognised teaching qualification or relevant teaching experience.

A genuine passion for supporting learners and helping them achieve their potential.

Desirable

PGCE, Cert Ed or an equivalent teaching qualification.

Experience delivering GCSE English and/or Functional Skills English.

Experience supporting learners with additional learning needs.
