Location: Loughborough, Leicestershire
Salary: £16 - £17 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: Monday–Thursday, 7:00am–4:00pm | Friday - early finish

Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Press Brake Operator to join their manufacturing team.
The Role:
As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting and operating press brake machinery to accurately form sheet-metal components in accordance with engineering drawings and production requirements. The successful candidate will have previous experience operating Amada press brake machinery and be confident working accurately in a busy manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Setting and operating Amada press brake machinery
• Producing accurate components to engineering drawings and specifications
• Selecting and setting the appropriate tooling for each job
• Measuring and checking components throughout the production process
• Working with sheet metal to achieve accurate bends and finished dimensions
• Interpreting engineering drawings and understanding bend specifications
• Carrying out quality checks on completed components
• Identifying and correcting minor issues where appropriate
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
• Working to production schedules and agreed deadlines
• Following company health and safety procedures
• Working effectively as part of a wider manufacturing team
You will ideally have:
• Previous experience operating Amada press brake machinery
• Good knowledge of press brake setting and operation
• Experience working with sheet metal
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong measuring and checking skills
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Ability to work accurately to specifications and tolerances
• Good understanding of workshop health and safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and positive approach to work
• Ability to work to production deadlines without compromising quality
