Summary
Location: Loughborough Primary School, Loughborough, LE11 3BY. You may also work at other schools in the area as needed.
Pay: £10.85 – £12.71 per hour (see pay note below)
Hours: 32 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, 52 weeks a year, including holiday camps
Internally, this role may be called an Activity Professional.
About the role
We believe every child deserves to be happy, active and included. As a Sports Coach, you'll help children aged 4–11 build confidence, make friends and find a love of movement that lasts a lifetime.
Your main base will be Loughborough CofE Primary School. During term time, your week will include:
Breakfast club and after-school club every day
Lunch club and PE lessons three times a week
During the school holidays, you'll lead our multi-activity holiday camps, keeping children active, happy and busy all year round.
What you'll be doing
Planning and delivering fun, structured sports and activity sessions for children aged 4–11
Keeping children safe and creating a positive, supportive environment
Promoting positive behaviour and being a great role model
Providing age-appropriate personal care when needed, following our safeguarding policies
Building good relationships with school staff and parents, and telling families about our other clubs, camps and holiday courses
Running engaging multi-activity sessions at our holiday camps
Travelling to other schools and venues in the local area when needed
