Summary
Job title: Personal Assistant
Location: Cardigan( Work to be undertaken at this location)
Hours: 3.5 hours per week term time (39 weeks) / 6 hours per week school holidays
Pay: £ 15.00
I am a friendly and energetic young man of primary school age, and my family is looking to employ a caring, patient, and reliable Personal Assistant to support me in getting the most out of life, both at home and in the local community.
The role is to support me to access the activities I enjoy, build my confidence and independence, helping me to develop social opportunities with my peers.
I enjoy spending time outdoors, especially exploring nature, wildlife and visiting the beach. I also have a keen interest in gaming, computers, consoles, and technology, and I enjoy learning new things and discovering new experiences.
I would like my PA to support me to access activities in the community, encourage me to try new things, and to help me develop friendships and confidence in social situations. Having similar interests to me would be a real advantage, as I enjoy sharing activities with people who understand and can encourage my interests.
Duties may include:
• Providing support at home and in the community
• Transporting me to and from activities
• Supporting me to safely access activities and outings
• Encouraging independence, confidence, and social interaction
• Helping me engage in hobbies and new experiences
• Building a positive and trusting working relationship with me and my family
