The Role

As a Year 1 Supply Teacher, you'll play a key role in supporting pupils as they transition from Reception into Key Stage 1. You'll deliver engaging lessons, maintain a positive classroom environment and help children build confidence in their learning while ensuring continuity in the absence of their regular class teacher.You'll have the opportunity to work across a variety of primary schools throughout Margate, gaining valuable experience while enjoying the flexibility that supply teaching can offer.

What We're Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or currently working towards it

Experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

The ability to quickly adapt to different school environments

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

A flexible, positive and professional approach
