The Role

As a Year 1 Supply Teacher, you'll play an important role in supporting pupils as they continue their transition from EYFS into Key Stage 1. You'll deliver engaging lessons, maintain a positive and productive classroom environment and ensure children remain motivated and on track with their learning.You'll have the opportunity to work across a variety of primary schools throughout Canterbury, gaining valuable experience while enjoying the flexibility that supply teaching provides.

What We're Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or currently working towards it

Experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

The ability to adapt quickly to different school environments

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

A flexible, positive and professional approach

A passion for helping young children develop confidence and a love of learning
