Summary

Sales Manager – Orpington

We are recruiting for an experienced Automotive Sales Manager, New & Used Car Sales Manager, Business Manager or Transaction Manager to lead a dealership sales operation in Orpington. Current Sales Manager experience is preferred, although experienced Business Managers and Transaction Managers ready to progress will be considered. Applicants must have a stable automotive sales background, proven leadership experience and the right to work in the UK.

Job Details:

Location: Orpington

Salary: £46,000 basic + bonus & company car

OTE: £106,000

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–6:00pm, Saturdays 9:00am–5:00pm and currently every other Sunday 10:00am–4:00pm

Sales Manager Role

- Lead the dealership's new and used car sales operation

- Manage, motivate and develop 5 Sales Executives and an Assistant Manager

- Drive departmental gross profit and overall sales performance

- Set, monitor and manage individual and team targets and KPIs

- Improve vehicle handover performance and customer experience

- Review existing sales processes and identify opportunities for improvement

- Develop the team and implement ideas to improve commercial performance

Sales Manager Requirements

- Current automotive Sales Manager experience preferred

- Experienced Business Managers and Transaction Managers ready to progress will also be considered

- Strong and stable automotive career history

- Proven experience leading and developing a dealership sales team

- Strong understanding of gross profit, targets and dealership KPIs

- Commercially focused with the ability to improve sales performance

- Confident introducing new ideas and improving existing processes

- Right to work in the UK
