Summary

Vehicle Technician – Woolwich

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Technician to join a large, fast-paced dealership workshop in Woolwich. Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, have at least 2 years' relevant workshop experience, hold a Full UK Driving Licence for at least 12 months and have the right to work in the UK.

Job Details:

Location: Woolwich

Salary: £33,000–£36,000 basic depending on experience

OTE: £50,000–£60,000+ uncapped

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm. 1 in 4 Saturdays, 8:00am–12:30pm, paid as overtime

Vehicle Technician Role

- Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs

- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using specialist diagnostic equipment

- Replace components and complete authorised repairs efficiently

- Carry out vehicle inspections and identify additional repair requirements

- Complete video vehicle health checks and accurately report findings

- Road test vehicles following repairs where required

- Maintain accurate workshop documentation and work towards productivity targets

Vehicle Technician Requirements

- Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, including IMI, City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent – essential

- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Mechanic

- Main dealership experience is strongly preferred

- Strong servicing, repair and diagnostic capability

- Comfortable working within a busy, target-driven workshop

- Full UK Driving Licence held for at least 12 months – essential

- Right to work in the UK
