Summary

Term time only (40 weeks per year) / Fixed term until July 2027 What we are looking for:Ability to work in a small teamAble to use your own initiative and make decisionsConfidence to act as an ambassador for the college, with knowledge and professionalismTo be adaptable to the needs of studentsGood organisation and presentation skills and confidence using IT for administrative tasksExperience of supporting students with special educational needs including SEMH. GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English at grade C or above or evidence that you can support students to study at this level Duties/responsibilities:Build trusting professional relationships with school SENCOs, parents and carersLiaise with parents and carersShare best practice with curriculum staffAttend Annual Reviews for School Links students, as requiredArrange bespoke transition visits, as requiredAttend open days and transition events for feeder schools and Local AuthoritiesIn class support to students and act as an advocateHelp students develop study skills and grow their independenceContribute to monitoring of studentsWork with the Careers Team to support students moving on from College into Supported Internship, employment or further study.
