Summary

Compile schedule of asset data for input into the fixed asset register on a quarterly basis. Correctly record the procurement of assets on the ledger, in the balance sheet and in the asset register. Account for the disposal of assets correctly, ensuring they are removed from the asset register. Run reports from the fixed asset register to provide information as required. Prepare budget, expenditure and forecast journals to input financial information into the ledger to agreed timetables. Assist with the annual asset verification exercise. Provide timely support and advice to financial and non-financial staff on capital assets and capital project accounting as required. Assist in responding to internal and external audit requirements and ensuring they are responded to in a timely manner The role requires the post holder to plan, organise and manage their time effectively, establishing own priorities on a day-to-day basis to meet deadlines with management supervision. Effectively monitor progress on their own tasks and raise an alert if there are any issues. Contact Details Available between 9am and 5pm.
