Summary
Luma Education Recruitment is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to become part of a team based in Harlow on a full-time basis.
Working within an all-through SEMH school, the successful applicant will support pupils from KS2 through to KS4. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys helping young people overcome barriers to education and develop both academically and personally.
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering tailored support to individual pupils and small groups.
Helping students who require additional support with their learning and development.
- Providing consistent support to pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs.
- Working alongside teachers to help deliver lessons and classroom activities.
- Contributing to a structured, welcoming and positive classroom environment.
- Encouraging pupils to develop greater independence, self-belief and engagement.
- Reinforcing appropriate behaviour and supporting the school's behaviour expectations.
- Liaising with teaching, pastoral and SEN staff to ensure pupils receive appropriate support.
- Helping students make progress with their educational, social and personal development.
