Active participation is expected in the departmental meetings, rota management and departmental junior doctor teaching programmes. This post is not recognised for training purposes by the Postgraduate Deanery. This is initially a fixed term appointment for 12 months. The successful applicant will work a 1 in 6 vascular on-call with no commitment to General Surgery. There will be opportunities to perform research and to learn endovascular techniques as well as routine open vascular surgery. Active participation is expected in the departmental meetings, rota management and departmental junior doctor teaching programmes.
