Summary

We're looking for an Industrial Placement Construction Manager to join our team based in the Birmingham region.

Location: BirminghamHours: 40 hours per weekSalary: £27,976 pro rataStart: September

This is an exciting opportunity for a degree student seeking a placement year to gain valuable hands-on experience and begin building a successful career in Construction Management.You will play a pivotal role in supporting the planning, coordination, and supervision of construction projects, on time and to the required quality. This opportunity is designed for a recent graduate eager to launch a career in construction management. You'll work collaboratively with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders whilst developing your skills in a supportive environment where your contribution will make a real difference.

What will you be responsible for?

As an Industrial Placement Construction Manager, you'll be working within the team, supporting them in delivering construction projects to the highest standards.

Your day to day will include:

-Supporting the Site Manager in overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

-Monitoring project progress, including schedules, costs, and quality control measures

-Collaborating with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project execution

-Maintaining accurate site records, including progress reports, safety logs, and material deliveries

-Participating in site meetings and helping to resolve any issues or conflicts that arise

-You work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating collaboration, reliability, and respect for others

-You hold a full UK driving licence
