Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Manager - Child Protection who is Social Care Qualified to lead and oversee our child protection team. This pivotal role requires a compassionate and skilled professional committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and young people within the community. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in social care with a strong background in child protection, capable of managing a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality services. This role involves direct oversight of case management, multidisciplinary collaboration, and continuous improvement of safeguarding practices, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practice guidelines. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively while maintaining a child-centered approach. You will be responsible for driving positive outcomes, supporting staff development, and strengthening partnerships with external agencies to protect children at risk. Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and support the child protection team to deliver high-quality safeguarding services.
Ensure all child protection cases are managed efficiently and in accordance with statutory guidance and organizational policies.
Develop and implement effective strategies to improve child protection processes and outcomes.
Provide supervision, training, and professional development opportunities for team members.
Collaborate with multi-agency partners including health, education, police, and judiciary to coordinate interventions and support for children and families.
Monitor team performance, conduct regular case audits, and ensure accountability and compliance with safeguarding standards.
Manage resources effectively, including budgeting and workforce planning to meet service demands.

Pay Per Annum: £49,056.00 - £57,402.00
