Summary

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of General Aftersales Manager at their busy Leicester dealership. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced automotive professional to oversee the successful operation of the Aftersales department, driving customer satisfaction, team performance, and commercial profitability.

Duties of the Aftersales Manager:

- Manage the day-to-day running of the Aftersales department effectively

- Lead, motivate and develop the Service and Parts teams

- Monitor departmental KPIs and drive performance improvements

- Maximise workshop productivity, efficiency and profitability

- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and maintain excellent service standards

- Oversee Aftersales processes, compliance, and communication across the department

- Handle customer queries, escalations, and ensure resolution in line with manufacturer standards

- Identify sales opportunities to increase Aftersales revenue and customer loyalty

- Support recruitment, training, and ongoing development of team members

Requirements of the Aftersales Manager:

- Proven experience as an Aftersales Manager within the automotive industry

- Strong knowledge of dealership Aftersales operations, including Service and Parts

- Demonstrable leadership skills with a track record of motivating and developing teams

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Good commercial awareness with a focus on profitability and performance analysis

- Organisational and problem-solving capabilities

- Professional, proactive approach to management

- Full UK driving license
