Summary

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Aftersales Manager in Leicester. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract offering a competitive basic salary of £40,000 and an on-target earning potential of £65,000. The Aftersales Manager role requires experienced automotive management to oversee Service and Parts departments within a busy dealership environment.

The successful Aftersales Manager will be responsible for leading the department, maximising efficiency, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, and ensuring departmental profitability.

Benefits:

- Basic salary of £40,000

- Potential OTE of £65,000

- 12-month fixed-term contract

- Company car scheme eligibility

- 45 hours per week

- Working hours Monday to Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm

- One in four Saturday mornings, 8:30am–12:30pm

- Sundays off

Duties:

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Aftersales department

- Lead, motivate, and develop the Service and Parts teams

- Monitor department KPIs and implement strategies to improve performance

- Maximise workshop productivity and profitability

- Ensure high standards of customer service and satisfaction

- Oversee Service and Parts operations, ensuring effective communication and cooperation

- Maintain compliance with manufacturer standards and company protocols

- Handle customer queries and escalations professionally

- Support recruitment, training, and development of staff

- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and manufacturer representatives

- Identify opportunities for additional revenue streams and improved customer retention

Requirements:

- Previous experience in Aftersales Management within the automotive industry

- Strong knowledge of Service and Parts operations

- Proven leadership, team motivation, and development skills

- Solid understanding of profitability and commercial awareness

- Excellent customer service and communication skills

- Ability to analyse performance data and work towards challenging targets

- Strong organisational and problem-solving capabilities

- Full UK driving licence
