Summary
Minimal Handball, Monday to Friday work, immediate starts!
We are currently recruiting HGV Class 2 drivers for Monday to Friday day shifts in Nottingham with minimal handball.
You’ll be driving curtainsiders in the NG postcode delivering frozen, palletised and cage based goods. This role does involve the use of tail lifts and electric pump trucks upon delivery so you must be comfortable with these methods.
The expectation is around one to five deliveries per shift with minimal handball required. This is a straightforward role with less physicality than is usually required. To add to all this there is reliable and consistent work on offer.
To be considered for this role, you’ll need:
A full UK Driving Licence with Category C entitlement
A valid Digital Tachograph Card
A valid UK Driver CPC Card
A minimum of 1 year’s HGV Class 2 driving experience
No points on your driving licence
No brand-new passes
To have held your licence for at least 2 years, or be aged over 25 with 2 years held
Experience driving curtain-sided vehicles
Experience using tail lifts
Experience operating electric pump trucks
A good understanding of safe loading, unloading, and delivery procedures
A reliable and professional approach to work
Ongoing work available
This role is Monday to Friday. Start time will be 0800 and finishing no later than 1800.
Pay and Benefits:
£16.00 per hour PAYE
£20.00 per hour via Umbrella
