Experienced HGV Trailer Technician Opportunity at Reputable Nottingham Repair Centre

Our client, is seeking a skilled HGV Trailer Technician to join their professional team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician to secure a long-term position within a busy workshop, offering competitive pay and opportunities for overtime. Benefits:

- Circa £50,000 basic salary plus overtime

- Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Duties:

- Service, repair, and maintain trailers including tail lifts and curtain siders

- Conduct fault diagnosis and complete repairs efficiently

- Prepare trailers for MOT testing and ensure compliance with legal standards

- Carry out repairs adhering to manufacturer guidelines and health & safety regulations

- Maintain accurate documentation of all service and repair activities

- Identify additional defects or repair requirements during inspections

- Uphold high standards of workmanship at all times

- Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Trailer Technician or HGV Technician, with a solid understanding of trailer systems and repairs

- Strong diagnostic skills and fault-finding ability

- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance (desirable)

- Full UK driving licence required

- Experience working on tail lifts and curtain siders is advantageous

- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship

- Ability to work efficiently within a busy workshop environment
