We are looking for an Assistant Headteacher who loves teaching, understands how teachers develop, and can bring colleagues with them. This is an opportunity to have a real influence across our school: building on what works well, helping good practice become more consistent, and making a lasting difference to pupils’ experience in the classroom.

You will work closely with the Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher and wider leadership team to turn that ambition into practical, sustainable improvement. You will help staff develop their practice through thoughtful professional learning, useful feedback and a shared understanding of what makes the greatest difference for our pupils. You will also help us evaluate the impact of our work, using evidence and professional judgement to decide what to keep, refine or change.

We would welcome applications from leaders ready for their first Assistant Headteacher post, as well as those with senior leadership experience. You may currently lead a subject, faculty or whole-school area. What matters most is that you are an excellent teacher who has led improvement beyond your own classroom and can show the difference it made. You will enjoy working alongside colleagues, turning ideas into practical changes and following through to see whether they improve pupils’ learning. We are looking for someone with the energy to make things happen and the judgement to bring people with them.
