Summary

Total Activity: 11 Programmed Activities (PAs) per week Qualifications and Requirements: Full GMC registration with a licence to practice FRCS or equivalent JAG accredited endoscopist with experience in advanced endoscopic procedures (eg. Dilatations) Entry on the GMC specialist register via CCT (proposed date must be within 6 months), CESR or ECR Trained to manage the undifferentiated general surgical take Proficient in Upper GI endoscopy Appropriate training at StR level for general & UGI surgery This job plan is intended to be worked flexibly over a seven-day working week. It is anticipated that patient related administration would be performed within the confines of the DCC PAs. Any draft timetable is intended to show the Trust's expectation of the post and the facilities to be provided. Adjustments may be required in consultation with the appointee, clinical colleagues and Senior Management.In particular, a change may be appropriate after consultation to allow the development of a special interest held by the successful candidate
