We are currently partnering with a welcoming network of secondary schools, high schools, and academies

in Mildenhall and across the surrounding Forest Heath area. We are experiencing high demand for reliable, energetic QTS and QTLS teachers across all subject backgrounds to deliver cover across a range of subjects at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (with Key Stage 5 opportunities also available).

Whether you are an experienced Secondary Teacher wanting to step back from full-time planning and marking, a subject specialist open to general cover, or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain broad experience and build connections across local schools, we can help you find your ideal role.

Key Responsibilities:

Step into diverse secondary classrooms to deliver pre-set work across a range of subjects, maintaining high expectations for learning and pupil engagement.

Create a positive, safe, and productive classroom environment using effective behaviour management strategies in line with school policies.

Adapt learning delivery to accommodate students with diverse learning styles and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Leave clear, professional handover notes for regular class teachers when fulfilling day-to-day cover assignments.

For long-term roles: take ownership of subject delivery, plan, assess, and mark work, participate in department meetings, and contribute to parents' evenings as required.

What We Look For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS (or recognised UK teaching qualification).

Strong classroom management skills and the confidence to step into unfamiliar secondary settings with ease.

Broad curriculum knowledge across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with a flexible, proactive attitude.

An adaptable, punctual, and professional approach with excellent communication skills.

A valid Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or a willingness to complete one).
