Summary
Masstemps is currently recruiting for an experienced
Aluminium Window Fabricator to join a well-established and busy manufacturing company based near the
Walsall area.
THE ROLE
. Fabricate and assemble aluminium windows, doors and architectural frames to drawings and job specifications.
. Measure, cut and prepare aluminium profiles to the required sizes.
. Use saws, drills, routers and other fabrication equipment to produce components accurately.
. Assemble aluminium frames using screws, fixings, brackets and other hardware.
. Fit glass, seals, gaskets, hinges, handles and locking mechanisms as required.
. Read and interpret fabrication drawings and measurements.
. Check finished products for accuracy, fit and overall quality.
. Carry out adjustments and modifications where required.
. Work with different aluminium profiles and systems depending on the project.
. Maintain a clean and organised work area and follow company health & safety procedures.
ABOUT YOU
• Previous experience in aluminium window, door or curtain wall fabrication.
• Experience cutting, machining and assembling aluminium profiles.
• Ability to read and work from fabrication/technical drawings.
• Experience using hand and power tools, including drills, saws and routers.
• Good understanding of measurements, dimensions and tolerances.
• Experience fitting window/door hardware, seals and gaskets would be beneficial.
• Ability to work accurately and produce a good standard of finish.
• Experience working within a manufacturing, architectural glazing or fenestration environment.
HOURS OF WORK
Monday - Thursday 08:00am - 17:00pm
Friday 08:00am - 13:30pm
OR
Monday to Friday - 06:00am - 14:00pm
Alternatively
Monday to Friady - 14:00pm - 22;00pm
PAY RATE
£13.50ph - £14.00ph
