Summary

Maintenance Plumber – FM Service Provider – Historic Building – Tottenham Court Road, London – £35,000 per annum

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Plumber to be based at a historic building in Tottenham Court Road, London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established FM service provider, working within a unique and prestigious building as part of a large team of engineers.

The successful candidate will hold a Level 2 NVQ / City & Guilds Plumbing qualification and have a strong background in commercial building maintenance. The role offers excellent training, career progression and overtime opportunities.

Package & Working Hours:

- Salary: £35,000 per annum

- Monday to Friday | 08:00 – 17:00

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across the site.

- Complete plumbing repairs including toilets, taps, sinks, pipework and sanitaryware.

- Diagnose and repair faults across commercial plumbing systems.

- Carry out basic electrical maintenance, including lamp changes, socket replacements and emergency lighting checks.

- Undertake routine maintenance on AHUs, FCUs, pumps, valves and associated mechanical plant.

- Complete water hygiene tasks, including temperature monitoring and flushing regimes.

- Assist with minor mechanical and plumbing installation works.

- Carry out general building fabric maintenance, including doors, locks, ceiling tiles and minor repairs.

- Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests.

- Escort and supervise specialist subcontractors.

- Ensure all works are completed in line with relevant Health & Safety procedures.

- Maintain accurate maintenance records using the site's CAFM system.

Requirements:

- Level 2 NVQ / City & Guilds in Plumbing – Essential

- Proven experience within commercial building maintenance or Facilities Management.

- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- Reliable, professional and able to work effectively as part of a team.
