Summary

Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Chancery Lane – Commercial Office – Up to £47,000

Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for a new opportunity within a unique commercial environment?

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join an established FM property company, working within a commercial office building based near Chancery Lane.

The successful candidate will be an electrically qualified engineer with a strong background in commercial building maintenance and experience carrying out both planned preventative and reactive maintenance. The role will be primarily electrical, with some multi-skilled duties across the site.

In return, the company is offering a salary of up to £47,000, 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays, company pension, further training, overtime opportunities and the chance to work within a unique and interesting site.

Hours of Work:

- Monday to Friday

- 40 hours per week

- 08:00 – 17:00

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

- Carry out planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance.

- Lighting fault-finding, lamping and small installations.

- Emergency lighting testing and repairs.

- Fault finding on control panels.

- Changing ballasts and carrying out electrical repairs.

- Monitor BMS systems, including heating and cooling.

- Maintain and update site logbooks and maintenance records.

- Carry out basic plumbing duties, including unblocking toilets.

- Monitor mechanical plant and equipment.

- Carry out basic maintenance on pumps, motors, seals and bearings.

- Assist with cooling tower inspections and maintenance.

- Basic air conditioning maintenance, including AHU/FCU filter changes and cleaning.

- Carry out water treatment checks.

- Complete general building fabric duties.

- Escort and liaise with specialist subcontractors.

- Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with site procedures.

Package:

- Up to £47,000 per annum

Requirements:

- Electrically qualified – City & Guilds Level 2 (Required)

- 17th or 18th Edition (Required)

- Able to provide copies of relevant trade certificates

- Proven experience within commercial building maintenance

- Multi-skilled with a willingness to undertake mechanical/building services duties

- Good communication skills

- Client-facing experience
