Summary

Are you looking for extra money leading up to Christmas?

We’re looking for an experienced Care Assistant to cover late shifts within a residential care service where each resident has their own apartment. Care is delivered on-site by a dedicated team, with scheduled calls managed on a rota to meet individual needs—offering the feel of community care without the travel.

The residents are semi-independent, but the role includes personal care, medication administration, meal preparation, domestic duties, and occasional shopping trips in the local area. Some residents require double-up care and assisted moving using hoists and other mobility aids.

To be suitable for this position you must have:

- An Enhanced DBS Certificate that is registered on the update service or the facilities to pay for one up front at the cost of £49.50.

- Up to date mandatory training certificates such as Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving and Handling.

- Full up-to-date CV

- At least 2 professional references covering a minimum of 2 years working within formal care settings or community care.

We have part time or full-time opportunities available with hours being 0600 to 1400 on various days from Monday to Sunday! Other shifts are available on request.

You will be paid £12.71 per hour rising to £13.33 after 13 weeks. You will also accrue up to 28 Days holiday for time served.
