This purpose-built Nursing and Residential Home is looking for experienced Care Assistants to work alongside the established Nursing and Care staff in providing a high standard of care to their residents. They are looking for enthusiastic Care Workers that enjoy supporting elderly people with illnesses associated with Old Age such as Parkinson’s Disease and Dementia. Dementia care experience would be advantageous but not essential.
Daily tasks will include:
• Attend to client’s mental and health needs in a calm, empathetic manner ensuring their dignity is always protected.
• Housekeeping duties such as laundry and cleaning client’s rooms and some communal areas.
• Observations of client’s conditions and reporting accordingly using the company’s reporting systems
• You must always comply with health and safety in a professional manner.
For this role, you must have;
- A least 3 months experience in a Care setting.
- A DBS dated within the last 6 months, registered on the update service, or the facilities to pay for a DBS at a cost of £49.50
- Up to Date relevant mandatory training such as Moving and Handling, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Infection Control and Food Hygiene, ideally with the certificates to prove this or we can assist you to access online training platforms so you can gain the relevant training.
- Referenceable work history covering the past 2 years

This is a temporary role that can become permanent for successful candidates.
Shift times are:-
Days - 0800 to 1400
There are other shifts available on request.
Rates of pay are £13.20 per hour and you will also accrue up to 28 days paid holiday per year for time served.
