Summary

Counterbalance & Combilift Driver

Location: Rotherham (S66)

Pay: £14.00 - £16.00 per hour DOE

Hours: Monday - Thursday, 7.15am - 5.00pm

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced

Counterbalance and Combilift Driver to join a busy manufacturing and production environment based in

Rotherham (S66).

This is a hands-on role for an experienced FLT operator who is confident operating both

Counterbalance and Combilift trucks and is happy to support the wider manufacturing and production team when required.

The Role

• Safely operating

Counterbalance and Combilift FLTs within a busy manufacturing environment

• Loading and unloading materials, products and deliveries

• Moving raw materials, stock and finished goods around the site

• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently

• Ensuring materials are stored correctly and safely

• Supporting the warehouse and production areas with material movements

• Assisting with

manufacturing and production duties when required

• Following production processes, work instructions and Health & Safety procedures

• Carrying out basic checks and maintaining a safe working environment

• Working to quality, productivity and safety standards

• Keeping work areas clean, tidy and organised

• Working as part of a wider manufacturing team while also being able to work independently

What We're Looking For

•

Valid, in-date Counterbalance FLT licence – essential

•

Valid, in-date Combilift licence – essential

• Previous experience operating both

Counterbalance and Combilift trucks

• Recent experience within a

warehouse, manufacturing, production or industrial environment

• Confident moving materials safely around a busy site

• Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking

• Good attention to detail

• Able to follow instructions and work to deadlines

• Flexible and willing to

help across manufacturing and production when required

• Comfortable working as part of a team and independently

• Positive attitude and willingness to get involved with different areas of the business

You must hold an independent, in-date licence for both Counterbalance and Combilift to be considered for this position.
