Activate Learning are recruiting for a Student Experience Team Leader to work alongside their Regional Lead to oversee and manage the Student Experience on our Bracknell and Wokingham College campus, ensuring that students have access to the resources and services they need to succeed academically, socially, and personally. As the Student Experience Team Leader, you'll have the chance to shape memorable experiences that will stay with our students long after they leave our campus.Reporting to Regional Head of Student Experience and working closely with the Group Director of Faculty and campus, students, faculty, and staff you will help to create a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive campus community culture that fosters learning, growth, and development, designing your approach to meet local needs whilst maintaining group attitudes and standards.The role will be expected to:Work with the Regional Head of Student Experience to maintain the highest quality student experience and campus community outside of teaching areasContribute to local leadership at College campusesEngage with all student groups on campus, including online, to gather their feedback and drive improvementsCo-ordinate a meaningful enrichment programme in-line with the group strategy and annual planFacilitate the Student Voice programme at both campusesWork collaboratively with and contribute to a variety of internal networks to ensure adherence to all statutory and regulatory regulations e.g., Health and Safety, Safeguarding, OfstedThis is a permanent full-time role working 37 hours per week based at our Bracknell and Wokingham College campus. What do you need to be successful as a Student Experience Team Leader at Activate Learning?We are looking for a candidate with proven experience working with young people, ideally within education, youth work, social care, or other public-facing environments. You will have experience managing and supporting individuals with behavioural challenges, including those who may be involved with Police, Probation, or Youth Justice Services.The successful candidate will have experience leading or managing a team, alongside a strong customer-focused approach and the ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.Excellent planning, organisational, and case management skills are essential, as is the ability to manage competing priorities effectively in both proactive and reactive situations to ensure the best possible student experience. You will be a confident problem-solver with a solutions-focused mindset and experience of working in a trauma-informed environment.Experience within the Further Education sector and an understanding of the barriers to participation that some learners face would be advantageous but are not essential.A Level 3 Safeguarding qualification, experience of event management, and other relevant professional qualifications are desirable but not required.Who we are:We see our employees as individuals, empowering them to make the right choices for their ambitions and careers.
