Summary
About the roleOur Employment coaches are responsible for providing support and guidance to adults with barriers to employment, such as long-term health conditions, neurodiverse, physical and other disabilities, in becoming work-ready; by moving them into sustainable and meaningful employment.You will build connections with local employers to help them understand the barriers faced by our participants. You will identify employee recruitment needs and actively engage local employers onto the project to create opportunities for our participants to aid a smooth transition for them into work.This will be a challenging yet rewarding role, working to deadlines to achieve targets. Working closely with project participants to overcome their barriers to employment and address any complex needs using and identifying a raft of local interventions and support packages to ensure they have the skills and confidence to secure and sustain employment.This is a permanent, full-time role working 37 hours per week based at our Reading College campus. What do you need to be a successful Employability Coach at Activate Learning?You will be part of a dynamic team striving to make a positive difference to our participants lives.
